ICMAB opens study centre in capital

Institute of Cost and Management Accountants of Bangladesh (ICMAB) inaugurated the ICMAB Uttara Study Center in the capital's Uttara area on Saturday.
The centre aims to ensure access to the CMA program by members of society across the country, said a press release.
An initiative of such kind indubitably supports the building up of strong social capital and helps the institute to mark its footprint in the development of Bangladesh economy, the release said.
The ICMAB Council thus decided to advance CMA provisions to expand a study centre at Uttara, Dhaka.
AKM Delwer Hussain FCMA, president of the South Asian Federation of Accountants (SAFA) attended the occasion as the chief guest while Abu Bakkar Siddique FCMA, president of the ICMAB was present as the special guest.
The chief guest congratulated the council and the members of the Institute for such an initiative that could contribute positively to the CMA students in their path of learning.
The ICMAB president addressed the gathering and shared commitment of his council for the development of ICMAB and the country.
Md Mamunur Rashid FCMA, vice president, ICMAB shared the significance of the initiative that envisions ICMAB’s future directions.
Md Munirul Islam FCMA, vice president, ICMAB also spoke on the occasion.
Secretary Kazi Muhammad Ziauddin FCMA, treasurer AKM. Kamruzzaman FCMA and council members along with a large number of fellow and associate members from Uttara attended the program.
