Noab leaders meet information minister

Leaders of the Newspaper Owners' Association Bangladesh (Noab) called on Information Minister Hasan Mahmud at the Secretariat on Wednesday.

Noab’s president AK Azad, vice president ASM Shahidullah Khan, executive members Mahfuz Anam, Naem Nizam and Dewan Hanif Mahmud, and member Shah Husain Imam, attended the meeting.

The representatives raised the issue of clearance of advertisement dues pending with both the government and private organisations.

In this regard, the minister said, the cabinet division had earlier issued a notification which was sent out to different ministries and government departments.

The minister, however, assured that the information ministry would again give them a reminder.
