Biman cancels flights on London route over new virus strain fears

In the wake of the rapid spread of the new coronavirus variant in the UK, Biman Bangladesh Airlines has cancelled all the flights on Dhaka-London route on January 23 and 30.

The national flag carrier confirmed this through an announcement on its website.

The passengers of the suspended flights will be allotted seats on a priority basis, subject to availability, after flight operations resume, the announcement reads.
