Bangladesh records another 17 deaths from Covid-19

Bangladesh recorded another 17 deaths from Covid-19 in last 24 hours on Tuesday, making the total death toll from the virus 5,983. 

By this time, another 1,659 fresh cases have been identified, a press release from the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) says. 

With this, the total number of Covid-19 positive patients in Bangladesh rises to 4 lakh 12 thousand 647. 

Meanwhile, the global death toll from the virus crossed 12 lakh today. Globally, 4 crore 68 lakh 78 thousand 189 people have tested positive with Covid-19, according to Worldometer.
