PM mourns death of Daily Sangbad acting editor Muniruzzaman

Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina on Tuesday expressed deep shock and sorrow at the death of acting Editor of Daily Sangbad Khandaker Muniruzzaman.
He died of coronavirus at the Mugda Hospital in the morning.
The Prime Minister prayed for the eternal salvation of the departed soul and expressed sympathy to the bereaved family, reports UNB.
Bangladesh reported 2,419 new coronavirus cases in 24 hours until Monday, taking the tally to 449,760.
Besides, the country recorded 28 more Covid-19 deaths during the period, taking fatalities to 6,416. In the last seven days, 201 people lost their lives to Covid-19 in the country.
The death rate stood at 1.43 percent.
So far, 364,611 patients – 81.07 percent -- including 2,183 in the last 24 hours, have recovered.
Bangladesh reported its first cases on March 8 and the first death was reported on March 18.
