SSC, HSC exams to be delayed by 2 months: Minister  

The next year Secondary School Certificate (SSC), Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) and those equivalent examinations may be delayed by two months due to the outbreak of coronavirus.

Education Minister Dipu Moni gave the hint while addressing a virtual press conference on Wednesday.

A short syllabus for three months has been prepared for the SSC and HSC examinees, she said and added, “We want to take class for three months in light of the syllabus and thus the examinations will be delayed by two months from the previous schedule.”

The SSC examination begins in February while the HSC in April every year but this year, the authorities have been forced to change the academic scheduled due to the coronavirus pandemic.
