The health authorities have reported 18 new dengue cases in 24 hours until Friday morning.
There are currently 82 dengue patients receiving treatment at hospitals across the country, among which 69 are in Dhaka alone, reports UNB quoting the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS).
Health authorities confirmed 1,105 dengue cases since January and 1,017 of the patients have recovered.
So far, three confirmed dengue-related deaths were reported this year.

Dengue fever was first reported in Bangladesh in 2000 and it claimed 93 lives. In three years, the fatality number almost fell to zero.
However, the mosquito-borne viral infection struck again in 2018, killing 26 and infecting 10,148 people.
