3 held with 10,000 yaba pills in Chattogram

Police have arrested three people, including two women, and recovered 10,000 pieces of contraband yaba from the Sadar area under Lohagara upazila in Chattogram.
They were arrested on Tuesday early morning.
The arrestees were identified as Chahara Khatun, 47, from Ukhia, Cox’s Bazar, Hosna Begum, 45, and M Mizanur Rahman from Hathazari upazila
Chattogram Police Superintendent M Rashidul Haq confirmed the news.
He said that acting on a tip off, a police team conducted a drive in the area and arrested the trio along with the contraband drugs.
A case was filed under the Narcotics Control Act in this regard.
