Bangladesh reports 1,696 new cases, 24 deaths from Covid-19

Bangladesh witnessed another spike in Covid-19 infection as the health authorities have confirmed 1,696 new cases and 24 deaths from Covid-19 on Thursday.
With this, the total number of positive Covid-19 cases in the country went to 394,827, with the death toll becoming 5,747.
Besides, the total number of recoveries from the virus also jumped up to 310,531 with 1,687 fresh recoveries in the last 24 hours.
The death rate from the virus stays at 1.46 percent at this moment.
