Ctg judges protest against Bangabandhu sculpture’s vandalism

Judges in Chattogram have protested the vandalism of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman’s sculpture amid a growing outcry against the construction of statues by Islamist groups in the country.

The judges under the banner of Bangladesh Judicial Service Association of Chattogram Unit staged a human-chain protest in front of the Police Women’s Welfare Association adjacent to the Dampara Police Line on Saturday.

They marched towards the Zilla Shilpakala Academy and joined a rally organised by the government officials.
