Closure of educational institutes extended further till Jan 16

The government has further extended the closure of all educational institutes of the country till January 16, 2021, due to the Covid-19 pandemic. 

The Ministry of Education issued a letter on Friday in this regard. 

The Qawmi Madrasas, however, will be exempt from this directive. 

The announcement of the closure of educational institutes came on March 17. The time of the closure extended multiple times. 

In the last announcement, the educational institutes were supposed to remain close till Saturday. 

All the exams of primary, secondary and higher secondary level already got cancelled due to the pandemic. It was decided that all the students will be promoted to the next class without a final exam. 

Only the universities are conducting regular classes, assignments and exams online amid the pandemic.
