89% students fail in Dhaka University’s ‘Ka’ unit admission test

A meagre 10.76 percent of the aspiring candidates under Dhaka University ‘Ka’ unit admission exams for the academic year 2020-21 have passed.

DU Vice-Chancellor Professor Md Akhtaruzzaman unveiled the results to Professor Mihir Lal Saha. The admission test was held 1st October 2021 and the result was published almost a month into the tests.

Out of 94,509 candidates, 10,165 have passed, while 84,340 students or 89.24 percent failed.

This year a total of 1,815 students will avail the opportunity to get enrolled in Dhaka University under ‘Ka’ unit.

The students who passed the tests can choose a subject through the admission website between November 9 to 23. To recheck scripts, students will have to contact the Dean of botany Faculty on November 4 to 10 and those who are applying under for any quota, they could do it during the same time.
