UCEP Bangladesh celebrated UCEP Day 2021 and the birth anniversary of its founder Lindsay Allan Cheyne on Wednesday at its head office in Mirpur-2 in the capital.
UCEP Chairperson Parveen Mahmud presided over the event, while Speaker of National Parliament Dr Shirin Sharmin Chaudhury, State Minister of Social Welfare Ministry Ashraf Ali Khan Khasru, Secretary of Technical and Madrasa Department Md Aminul Islam Khan and Labour Secretary Md Ehsan-E-Elahi took part in.

Speaker Shirin Sharmin praised UCEP Bangladesh for its outstanding contribution to the expansion of technical education since 1972.
She thanked UCEP for initiating various trainings on professional skills, entrepreneurship development and courses to address the Fourth Industrial Revolution (4IR).
She said that these activities of UCEP would help the country achieve Sustainable Development Goals (SDG).
