Bangladesh finds new Covid strain similar to the UK one

Bangladesh identified a new strain of coronavirus which is similar to the strain that’s spreading across the United Kingdom (UK).
Scientists at the Bangladesh Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (BCSIR) made the claim on Thursday, reports BBC.
The scientists unveiled 17 new genome sequence last month, five of which had the new strain.
It is said that the new Covid strain found in the UK can spread 70 percent faster than any other strain of coronavirus.
