Bangladesh Economic Association expresses solidarity with SUST students’ movement

The Bangladesh Economic Association (BEA) expressed its concerns over the recent incidents at Shahjalal University of Science and Technology.
In order to solve the issue, the BEA expressed its solidarity with the demands of the Shahjalal University of Science and Technology (SUST) students, according to a press release issued Tuesday.
The association also condemns the failure of the SUST authorities that created the situation at the university. Also, it demands a neutral investigation into the incidents and making the probe reports public, read the statement.
Besides, the association also asked the SUST vice chancellor to step down from the position, or the relevant authorities should relieve him from discharging duties to solve the problem and restore the academic environment, it read.
