Police not buying bed sheets from Germany: Press statement

Bangladesh Police are not buying bed sheets with pillow cover from Germany as reported in some media.

In a press statement signed by Additional Inspector General (Media and PR) Md Kamruzzaman the Bangladesh Police said the media report that the Inspector General of Police (IGP) is visiting Germany to buy one lakh bed sheets for the police force is false and misleading.

The IGP has no reason to go to Germany to buy bed sheets and pillow covers, the statement said.
