Dry weather likely

Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD) on Thursday predicted dry weather with temporary partly cloudy sky over the country in the next 24 hours.

"Weather may remain dry with temporary partly cloudy sky over the country. Light fog may occur at isolated places over the river basins of the country during early morning," said a Met Office bulletin issued on Thursday.

Day temperature may rise slightly over the country, reports BSS.

Ridge of Sub-continental high extends up to West Bengal and adjoining area. Seasonal low lies over South Bay.

Country's maximum temperature on Wednesday was recorded by 30.0 degrees Celsius at Teknaf and the minimum temperature on Thursday was recorded by 9.6 degrees Celsius at Srimangal.
