CNG stations’ daily closure time extended by one hour

CNG stations will now remain closed from 6pm to 11pm everyday instead of the previous schedule of 6-10pm.

This new restriction will be effective from Tuesday, according to a news release of Petrobangla.

The decision was made with a view to increasing the gas supply to power plants during its peak hours of production, said Petrobangla.

A vigilant team will monitor the implementation of the decision and any violator will face legal action, it added.

The new schedule will remain effective until further notice, a Petrobangla official told the Business Insider Bangladesh.
