Dhaka WASA to ensure uninterrupted water supply during Ramadan

Dhaka Water Supply and Sewerage Authority (WASA) has formed 10 advisory monitoring teams to ensure uninterrupted water supply during the month of Ramadan and the dry season in the capital.

The team will monitor zone based water pumps and will verify the duty roster and operation schedule of the operators to make the effort successful, said a press release on Saturday.

The teams have been asked to submit reports to the managing director of the WASA for immediate action if they find any irregularities in the water supply process.

The monitoring activities will remain on till May 7, according to the press release.
