Members of the Armed Police Battalion (APBn) have arrested two Rohingya teenagers with some 6,000 Yaba tablets at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport in Dhaka.
The arrestees were identified as Saddam Hossain, 15, and Mohammad Amin, 14, said an on-duty official of the APBn on Tuesday.
Following their suspicious movement in front of the Airport Restaurant near the airport, a team of the APBn detained them and recovered the 6,070 pieces of yaba tablets from their possessions.
During the primary interrogation, the duo confessed that they are residents of Rohingya camp No 24 under Teknaf upazila in Cox’s Bazar.
They are engaged in trafficking the Yaba tablets to Dhaka from Teknaf, the APBn official told the Business Insider Bangladesh.
