94 officials promoted to additional secretaries

The government has promoted 94 joint secretaries in the administration to the rank of additional secretary.
The Ministry of Public Administration issued a notification in this regard on Wednesday.
With promoted officers, the number of additional secretaries in the administration is now 498. However, the number of permanent posts of additional secretary is 130.
The promoted officers are required to send their joining letters by e-mail (sa1@mopa.gov.bd).
The 15th batch has been considered the main batch for the promotion, according to the ministry notification.
