The cabinet has approved a proposal to ratify the visa waiver agreement between Bangladesh and Oman for diplomatic, official, special or service passport holders.
The approval came at a cabinet meeting chaired by Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, held at her office on Monday.
Following the meeting, Cabinet Secretary Khandaker Anwarul Islam briefed the journalists at the Secretariat.
“From now on, we can go to Oman without a visa,” he said.
However, the secretary said the diplomats, officials, and special and service passport holders are eligible for the facility.
