The alliance formed by people who are not related to the countrymen and abandoned in politics has no importance in politics or in the voting field, said Information and Broadcasting Minister Hasan Mahmud.
The minister made the remark while talking to reporters at his residence on Tuesday about the formation of Ganatantra Mancha by seven political parties, according to a statement.
Earlier on Monday, Jatiya Samajtantrik Dal, Nagarik Oikya, Biplabi Workers Party, Gana Sanghati Andolan, Gana Odhikar Parishad, Bhashani Onusari Parishad and Rashtra Sangskar Andolan formed the alliance.
He said, “Yesterday a seven-party alliance named Ganatantra Manch was formed. All those who formed this coalition are political outcasts and have become politically irrelevant”.
This is a less-important alliance and they are trying to raise their importance through the alliance formation, he added.
