President to receive Brunai sultan at airport on Saturday

Brunei Darussalam Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu’izzaddin Waddaulah is scheduled for a three-day state visit to Bangladesh on October 15.
Bangladesh President M Abdul Hamid will receive Sultan at the Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport (HSIA) at about 12pm, reports Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha.
The sultan is making his maiden visit to Dhaka at the invitation of the Bangladesh President and the prime minister.
The sultan will be accompanied by the members of the royal family, ministers of various ministries of Brunei and high-level government officials.
The sultan will hold a meeting with President Abdul Hamid at the Credential Hall at the Bangabhaban at 7:00pm on the day.
Later, he is scheduled to sign a visitors’ book at Gallery Hall of the Presidential palace.
President Hamid will arrange a state dinner and cultural function in honour of the sultan at Durbar Hall at 7:35pm.
