Prize-giving ceremony of ISU Online Quiz Contest-2020 held

The prize-giving ceremony of an online quiz competition, organised by the International Standard University (ISU) marking the birth centenary of the Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, was held on Tuesday.

This year’s Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) examination candidates participated in the ISU Online Quiz Contest-2020. Around 1,800 students took part in the first round held on September 3. Of the total, only 20 selected students made it to the final round on September 5.

Md Al-Amin Khan, a student of the Dhaka Residential Model College, clinched the first position in the quiz competition, while Dipu Paul and Nabil Mohammad Irfan – both from the capital’s Notre Dame College – secured the second and third position respectively.

Mohi Zulfikar, a student of the New Govt Degree College in Rajshahi, won the fourth prize, while Md Abdus Sadiq from the Govt MM City College of Khulna won the fifth prize.

Asiatic 3Sixty Chairperson Sara Zaker, media personality and actor Tariq Anam Khan, Dean of the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences at ISU K Ahmed Alam, Chairperson of the Department of Business Administration at ISU Dr Oli Ahad Thakur were the judges.

Dr Oli gave the introductory speech in the prize-giving ceremony. High officials of the university were present during the programme.
