Replying to a query over a comment of BNP secretary general Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir, the minister said, “Mirza Fakhrul claimed that he doesn’t believe his party (AL) general secretary’s statement. But the countrymen think that Mirza Fakhrul always tells lies. And this is the reality. It is regrettably true that he can lie gracefully, he added.
Hasan said, “Our party general secretary told that we want the participation of all political parties including BNP in the next polls. And in this context, he told about election period government. The general secretary of our party said about our willingness. It is normal that the statement of our party’s general secretary would not be audible to those who don’t want elections and afraid of polls.”
“We want the participation of all political parties including BNP in the next polls,” he added.
