State Minister for Foreign Affairs Shahriar Alam underscored the need for an active role of the regional countries including ASEAN for the safe and sustainable repatriation of the Rohingyas and a peaceful transition of power to a civilian administration through election in Myanmar.
State Minister Alam shared the views at the 2-day Oslo Forum hosted by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Norway in association with the Geneva-based Centre for Humanitarian Dialogue on 13-14 June in Oslo, Norway, said the press release here on Friday.
