Intern physicians of the Chittagong Medical College Hospital (CMCH) joined their works after a negotiation meeting with the hospital authorities.
The meeting was held at its director office with the mediation of the principal, head of several departments and local police.
"In the sitting with doctors, we sought out the problems and consider their all demands," Director of CMCH Brigadier General M Humayan Kabir said.
On April 27, some non-residential medical students attacked intern doctors and damaged their property.
In protest, all the interns immediately after that declared abstention from works.
"We give three days to authority to take action of the students who were involved with the attack," Dr M Osman Goni, convener of the Intern Physician Association, said.
"We now have withdrawn the abstention programme and going to join the work from today," he added.
