Covid-19 certificates: Health ministry nominates 10 private labs

Dhaka (Oct 20, 2020): Health and Family Welfare Ministry has nominated 10 private health service institutes in Dhaka to issue clearance certificates after conduction Covid-19 test to the people intended to go abroad.

The institutes area: International Centre for Diarrhoeal Disease Research, Bangladesh (icddr,b), Universal Medical College Hospital, ideSHi in Mohakhali, Labaid Limited, Popular Diagnostic Centre in Dhanmondi and Square Hospital, in Panthapath, Ever Care Hospital in Boshundhara, Prova Diagnostic in Banani, United Hospital in Gulshan and DMFR Molecular Lab & Diagnostics in Sobhanbagh area of Dhaka.

The RT-PCR labs of the institutes will conduct the test in line with the directives of the government, a press release of the health ministry said today.

Alongside IEDCR, Sarkari Karmachari Hospital will also issue the certificates to the government staff and officials, who want to go abroad, after performing their Covid-19 test, the press release said.

The people who want to go abroad will have to show the certificates at all land, water and airports to get clearance from the authorities concerned.
