Islamic preacher Abu Taw Haa Muhammad Adnan, who went missing eight days ago, was found in Rangpur
Islamic preacher Abu Taw Haa Muhammad Adnan, who went missing eight days ago, has been found in Rangpur, police said.
The three others, who also went missing with Adnan on the same day, have also found at their respective houses, a police official at Rangpur Katwali Police Station said on Friday.
In the eigt days, Taw Haa stayed at a house in Babu Kha Mastarpara area of Rangpur City Corporation, he said, seeking anonymity.
On information, police reached the spot and took the missing preacher to Rangpur Tatwali Police Station around 2:45 pm and later he was taken to the Rangpur DB office for interrogation, police said.
Further detail in this regard could not be known immediately.
The young preacher along with his three friends went mission on their way to Dhaka from Rangpur on June 10.
Earlier on June 16, Taw Haa’s wife Sabikunnahar at a press conference in Dhaka sought Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina’s intervention in this regard.
