Police detain 11 snatchers with 202 mobile sets in Ctg

Chattograme (Dec 3, 2020): Law enforcers today claimed to have detained 11 suspected snatchers and recovered 202 mobile sets from their possessions by carrying out raids in different parts of the port city.

Noticing the increasing number of mobile snatching incident in the city, law enforcers of Kotwali Police Station today carried out drives at different points of the city including Railway station and New Market area.

They, during the drive, detained 11 people for their alleged role in unlawful activities and recovered a total of 202 mobile sets from their possessions, Palash Kanti Nath, additional deputy commissioner of Chattogram Metropolitan Police, said at a press conference.

Police first detained Fazlul Karim and Shah Alam and following their confessional statements, detained the others suspects during the drives, the police official said.
