Primary Dealers Bangladesh Limited holds 12th AGM

The 12th annual general meeting of Primary Dealers Bangladesh Limited (PDBL) was held virtually on Sunday with Md Ataur Rahman Prodhan, the chairman of PDBL and CEO and Managing Director of Sonali Bank Limited in the chair.
Managing directors, chief executives and senior officials along with treasury officials from PDBL member banks were present at the annual event.
The audited financial statements of PDBL for the year ended December 31, 2019 were placed in the meeting which was unanimously adopted by the house after discussion and Malek Siddique Wali, chartered accountant firm, was reappointed to audit the accounts of PDBL for 2020.
A 14-member board of directors of PDBL was formed in the meeting, reads a press release.
Md Ataur Rahman Prodhan and Syed Mahbubur Rahman, managing director and CEO of Mutual Trust Bank, were respectively re-elected as chairman and vice chairman of PDBL for a tenure of next one year by the board of directors.
In the meeting, Mirza Elias Uddin Ahmed, managing director and CEO of Jamuna Bank Limited, was authorised to form the next PDBL Technical Committee from treasury officials of 14 PDBL member banks.
