The Standard Bank Limited (SBL) will be partially suspending its services for six days due to its conversation from a conventional bank to an Islamic one.
According to a Bangladesh Bank circular, batch (clearing) activity, BEFTN and digital banking (EFT), and real time gross settlement or RTGS transaction will be suspended from December 30 to January 4.
Standard Bank received approval from the Bangladesh Bank to convert from a conventional bank to an Islamic bank in February, 2020.
