Bank Asia wins 1st prize for SAFA Best Presented Annual Report

Bank Asia Ltd was awarded the first prize for the Best Presented Annual Report-2019 (Private Sector Banks) among all South Asian Countries by the South Asian Federation of Accountants (SAFA).

SAFA awards the prize every year for the Best Presented Annual Report.

The Institute of Chartered Accountant of Sri Lanka organised the prize giving ceremony on Wednesday through a virtual platform, reads a press release.

Muhammad Farooq, president of the Institute of Chartered Accountant, Bangladesh (ICCB), AKM Delwer Hussain, vice president of SAFA, and Mohammed Humayun Kabir, council member of ICCB, handed over the prize to Md Arfan Ali, president and managing director of Bank Asia.

Mohammad Ibrahim Khalil, chief financial officer of the bank, was also present on the occasion.
