Prof Abdul Hannan Chowdhury appointed Grameen Bank chairman

Professor Dr Abdul Hannan Chowdhury has been appointed as the new chairman of Grameen Bank.

To this end, the Financial Institutions Division under the Ministry of Finance on Tuesday issued a notification, reports BSS.

Prof Chowdhury's tenure will be three years from the date of his joining. The order will be effective immediately.

Abdul Hannan Chowdhury is now holding the position of professor at the School of Business and Economics (SBE) at North South University (NSU).
