The 2nd managers’ conference-2020 of Sylhet East and West Region of Pubali Bank Limited was held rec
Dhaka (Oct 15, 2020): The 2nd managers’ conference-2020 of Sylhet East and West Region of Pubali Bank Limited was held recently.
Md. Abdul Halim Chowdhury, managing director of Pubali Bank Ltd while Mohammad Ali, Additional Managing Director and COO of the bank, spoke at the programme held with General Manager of Sylhet Principal Office Ershadul Haque in the chair.
In his speech Abdul Halim Chowdhury emphasized on expansion of foreign remittance business through better customer and modern banking service.
The range of the economy of Bangladesh is increasing as world economy is doing well and the banking sector is playing a leading role in this context, he said.
He urged all to work sincerely and stressed the need for selection of potential borrowers to enhance business.
Mohammad Ali advised all to work hard to increase remittance rendering best customer services.
He underscored the need for increasing the use of modern information technology for qualitative improvement in the overall customer service of PBL.
At the conference, necessary strategies and plans were designed to achieve the target fixed for the year 2020.
DGM and Regional Head of Sylhet East Region Ziaul Haque Chowdhury, DGM and Regional Head of Sylhet West Region Md. Mashiur Rahman Khan and Branch Managers of Sylhet East and West Region also spoke at the programme.
