HSBC Bangladesh ranks 1st in Euromoney Cash Management Survey 2020

The Hongkong and Shanghai Banking Corporation Limited (HSBC) has been voted the “Market Leader in Bangladesh” for the ninth consecutive year, as well as the “Best for Service” for three years in a row in the Euromoney Cash Management Survey 2020.
“We are humbled by this recognition, which is a testament to the trust our clients put on us to support their businesses on a daily basis,” Chief Executive Officer of HSBC Bangladesh Md Mahbub ur Rahman said regarding the accolades.
“We will continue to offer our clients the best insight and solutions to enable businesses to be resilient and thrive in these unprecedented times,” he added.
Country Head of Wholesale Banking of HSBC Bangladesh Kevin Green said, “This award is a testament to the team’s hard work to ensure that our services and processes have been up and running throughout the pandemic.
“As we approach 2021 with positivity and purpose, this award inspires us to keep the momentum going to serve our clients with even greater determination,” he added.
Euromoney had more than 33,000 respondents to this year's survey — a 25 percent rise from last year and the highest in the survey's history.
HSBC has also been named the Best Global Cash Manager by Corporates in the Euromoney Cash Management Survey 2020, for the ninth consecutive year.
The bank also retained its number one rankings in Asia-Pacific and the Middle East, and was named number one regional cash manager for corporates in North America.
In addition to the Bangladesh win, the bank has been awarded the number one slot in 22 markets. It retained its number one position in the US, UK, Canada and Australia, amongst others.
It has also moved up to number one in the rankings in Mexico, Hong Kong, Egypt, Ireland and Sri Lanka.
