IFIC Bank conducts training program for entrepreneurs

IFIC Bank Ltd has conducted a month-long intensive training program for Small and Medium Enterprise (SME) entrepreneurs under the Entrepreneurship Development Program (EDP) of the Skills for Employment Investment Program (SEIP) Project with the support of Bangladesh Bank.

Presided by IFIC Bank DMD & Chief Credit Officer Shah Md Moinuddin, Mohammed Yasin, additional secretary, DEPD (Public) attended the program as chief guests, held at IFIC Tower on June 29.

A number of 24 participants were awarded a certificate after the successful completion of month-long training, said a press release.

Other guests include Md Jaker Hossain, director (SMESPD), SME & Special Programmes Department; Mohammad Jahid Iqbal, joint director & DCPC, PIU, SMESPD from Bangladesh Bank; KARM Mostafa Kamal, head of HRMD; ATM Raziur Rahman, head of Branches & SME from IFIC Bank along with a numerous number of guests attended the closing program.

The training program has been arranged for ensuring inclusive growth of SMEs with vast employment creation and economic development of the country.

IFIC Bank provides loan facilities to trained entrepreneurs for their business development.
