Bangladesh Bank posts 2021 holiday list for scheduled banks

The Bangladesh Bank has posted a list of holidays to be followed by all scheduled banks for 2021.

Scheduled banks will get a total of 24 holidays next year, reads a circular by the central bank.

While most of the holidays are fixed, the holidays of Shab-e-Barat, Shab-e-Qadr, Eid-ul-Fitr, Buddha Purnima, Eid-ul-Azha, Ashura, and Eid-e-Miladun-Nabi could change subject to the appearance of the moon.
