Community Bank Bangladesh Limited held its 2nd Annual General Meeting (AGM) at the Police Headquarters in Dhaka through video conferencing on Wednesday.
In the AGM, the annual report, audited reports and accounts of the bank for the year ended 2020 was approved and important decisions were taken regarding the annual general meeting of the bank, reads a press release.
The meeting was chaired by Inspector General of Police and Chairman of Community Bank Dr Benazir Ahmed.
He conveyed his sincere gratitude to the honourable Prime Minister for her kind favour and wholehearted support during the inception of the bank.
Commenting on the event, Dr Benazir Ahmed said, “Community Bank is a bank for people from all walks of life, not only for the members of Bangladesh Police.”
He also instructs the bankers to ensure ease of banking for customers by offering innovative banking solutions and diversified service delivery channels.
Members of the board of directors of the bank attended the meeting.
