ASM Feroz Alam and Md Abdul Hannan have been elected vice-chairmen of Mercantile Bank (MBL) directors' board recently.
They are eminent businessmen and sponsor directors of the bank, said a press release.
ASM Feroz Alam is the managing director of Bengal Trading (Tokyo), sponsor, and former chairman of Premier Leasing and Finance.
He is also the founder of ‘Saheda Gafur Ibrahim General Hospital’ in Patuakhali.
Feroz Alam is involved in financial services, electronic media, and many other businesses at home and abroad.
Md Abdul Hannan is an export and readymade garment businessman and Chairman of Debstar Associates and Murad Apparels.
Besides, he is well recognised for his benevolent contributions to society through social welfare activities, education, health, and social development movements.
