ICAB gets new president

Mahmudul Hasan Khusru has been elected as the president of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Bangladesh (ICAB), a leading professional body.
He replaces Muhammad Farooq, the outgoing president of the ICAB, and is expected to take over his charge on January 1, 2021. Sidhartha Barua, Md Abdul Kader Joaddar and Maria Howlader were elected as the vice presidents for 2021.
The new office bearers of the body were elected by the members of the Council at its 21st meeting on Tuesday, said the ICAB in a statement.
