NRB Global Bank formally opens 2 Islamic banking branches

NRB Global Bank formally opened its two Islamic banking branches on Thursday at Narail Sadar and Lama Bazar, Bandarban.

Syed Habib Hasnat, managing director of the bank, virtually inaugurated the operations of the branches as chief guest, reads a press release.

Additional Managing Directors Md Golam Sarwar and Kazi Mashiur Rahman Jayhad, Deputy Managing Directors Mohammad Shamsul Islam and Ataus Samad, divisional heads from the head office, branch managers and distinguished clients were also present on the occasion.

NRB Global Bank has been providing Islamic banking services along with conventional banking through the launch of Islamic Banking window from among the existing branches.

From January 1, 2021 onwards, the bank is switching to full fledged Islamic banking operations with the new name Global Islami Bank.

It is expected that through the latest technological support, the bank will provide quality service to the customers and will expand its network at home and abroad to provide great experience to its stakeholders.
