Alltex Industries Ltd extends factory shutdown

The board of directors of Alltex Industries Ltd has decided to extend shutdown of the factory for another 30 days for refurbishment and reinstallation of the underground gas line.
The company issued a statement on the website of Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) in this regard on Sunday.
All production activities of the factory will remain stopped during the gas line work. The company will inform shareholders once the reconstruction finishes and production resumes.
Earlier on November 3, the company informed that they shut down the factories the previous day for 45 days — a period which ended on December 17.
Alltex factory is located in Narayanganj district’s Rupganj area. The plant is equipped with modern European printing, dyeing and fabric processing machines spread over an expanse of 300,000 sqft of the factory space.
The factory has a printing and dyeing production capacity of 3 million metres per month and comprises of a modern laboratory to carry out in-line and post-inspection of the goods in order to ensure quality.
