Crystal Insurance’s Q3 earnings increase by 17%

Crystal Insurance Company Ltd’s earnings per share (EPS) increased by 17 percent to Tk0.96 for Q3 (July-September) of 2020 as against Tk0.82 for the same period of previous year. 

In a statement published on Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) on Monday, the company reported that their profit after tax was Tk2.32 crore. Last year, it was Tk1.97 crore during the same period. 

The company also said that post-IPO basic EPS for the Q3 of 2020 would be Tk0.58. Pre-IPO net asset value (NAV) per share, considering pre-IPO paid-up shares, would beTk25.79 at the end of Q3 and the same would be Tk19.47, considering post-IPO paid-up shares. 

Pre-IPO weighted average paid-up number of shares was 2.4 crore and post-IPO paid-up number of shares would be 4 crore, the company further said.
