RAK Ceramics shuts down 2 plants for a month

RAK Ceramics (Bangladesh) Limited completely shut down two of its four plants of tiles production line for approximately 30 days due to maintenance of power plant of RAK Power Pvt Ltd.
The company published a statement on Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) in this regard on Monday.
During this time, two other plants will be in operation with 50 percent and 100 percent of production capacity respectively.
The statement also says that sanitary ware production lines will continue up to 70 percent of production capacity.
The company will make an announcement on resumption of operations after completion of the maintenance work.
