Prize giving ceremony of Ispahani Pink City Victory Day Sports Carnival held

The prize giving ceremony of Ispahani Pink City Victory Day Sports Carnival was held at Pink City Model Town. 

The event was organised by Pink City Sporting Club. 

Former national cricket captain and current selector Habibul Bashar Shumon, who also became a donor member of the Pink City Sporting Club, attended the programme as chief guest, a press release says. 

He shared the experience of defeating India and South Africa in World Cup 2007.

He advised the young generation to play outdoor sports for at least two hours a day. 

Congratulating the winners, President of Pink City Sporting Club Rizwan Bin Farouq thanked the sponsor of the programme Ispahani and all the resident of Pink City for supporting the sports Carnival. 

Habibul Bashar urged the residents of Pink City to join the sports club. 

Rupam and Ayeed won the jr badminton tournament while senior one was won by Ifty and Ayon and super senior was won by Mahbub and Pintu. 

In ladies badminton, Sonia Farouq and Samanzar were the winners. 

In table tennis, Ifti and Samanzar won. The champion title of 7'a side football championship went to Team Pink while the crown of champion for 6'a side cricket was secured by Team Lime. 

The function was attended by officials of the club and other residents.
