5 firms declare dividends, 1 refrains

The boards of Silco Pharmaceuticals Limited, Express Insurance Limited, Fu-Wang Ceramic Industries Ltd, Fareast Islami Life Insurance Co Ltd, and GBB Power Ltd recommended dividends for the 2019-20 fiscal year on Monday.

Silco Pharmaceuticals’ board of directors recommended a 10% cash dividend for all shareholders excluding sponsors and directors, according to the Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) website. The annual general meeting (AGM) is scheduled to take place on December 24.

The company has reported earnings per share (EPS) of Tk0.80, net asset value (NAV) per share of Tk21.64 and net operating cash flow per share (NOCFPS) of Tk1.41 for FY2019-20, against Tk2.02, Tk23.12, and Tk1.00, respectively, for the same period of the previous fiscal year.

Silco Pharmaceuticals further informed that the sponsors and directors hold 40,608,370 shares out of total 103,807,000 shares of the company and the cash dividend to be payable to the general shareholders is Tk6.32 crore.

Express Insurance announces 5% cash dividend

The board of directors of Express Insurance Limited has declared a 5% interim cash dividend based on nine months’ un-audited financial statements for the period ended on September 30.

The record date for entitlement of the interim cash dividend is set to be November 22.

Fu-Wang Ceramic announces 1.40% cash dividend

Fu-Wang Ceramic Industries Ltd board of directors has recommended a 1.40% cash dividend for FY2019-20.

The AGM of the company is scheduled to take place on December 31.

The company also reported EPS of Tk0.47, NAV per share of Tk11.60, and NOCFPS of Tk0.05 for FY2019-20, against Tk0.59, Tk11.15, and Tk0.38, respectively, for the same period of the previous fiscal year.

Fareast Islami Life Insurance recommends 10% cash dividend

Board of directors of Fareast Islami Life Insurance Co Ltd has recommended a 10% cash dividend for the year 2019.

The AGM of the company is scheduled to take place on December 15.

GBB Power to give another 5% cash dividend

GBB Power Ltd board of directors has recommended another 5% final cash dividend for FY2019-20.

Earlier, the company offered a total of 10% cash dividend for FY2019-20, the 5% interim cash dividend has already been paid.

The AGM of the company is scheduled to take place on December 6.

The company has also reported EPS of Tk1.14, NAV per share of Tk19.93, and NOCFPS of Tk1.41 for FY2019-20, against Tk0.76, Tk20.30 and, Tk1.04, respectively, for the same period of the previous fiscal year.

No dividends from Bengal Windsor this year

Board of Directors of Bengal Windsor Thermoplastics Ltd recommended no dividends for FY2019-20.

The company’s AGM is scheduled to take place on December 24.

The company also reported EPS of Tk0.12, NAV per share of Tk24.39, and NOCFPS of Tk2.32 for FY2019-20, against Tk1.06, Tk24.63, and Tk2.86, respectively, for the same period of the previous fiscal year.
