Bank Asia donates braille printing machine to disabled development trust

As part of its corporate social responsibility (CSR) activities, Bank Asia Ltd has donated a Braille Printing Machine — a special printing machine for printing study materials of visually impaired people — to the Bangladesh Disabled Development Trust (BDDT).
The aim of donating the machine is to facilitate educational activities for those with visual impairment.
On the occasion of the bank’s 21st anniversary, this donation was funded by Bank Asia Family, reads a press release.
Md Arfan Ali, president and managing director of the bank, handed over the Braille machine to BDDT at Bank Asia Tower, Karwan Bazar, Dhaka recently.
Bank Asia Deputy Managing Director and COO Mohammad Borhanuddin, SVP of Islamic Banking Division AKM Mizanur Rahman, Head of Bank Asia Tower Branch Md Abdul Latif, and other senior officials were present at the event.
