United Hospital’s 2021 calendar to celebrate 50 yrs of BD independence

The year 2021 marks the 50 years of independence of Bangladesh. To celebrate the "50 years of Independence”, the United Hospital comes up with a 2021 calendar as a commemorative gesture designed to honour the essence of Bangladesh independence.

The pictures used in the calendar were taken by internationally renowned photographer Dr Rashid Un Nabi, senior consultant of Radiation Oncology at the United Hospital, reads a press release.

Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of United Hospital, Mohammad Faizur Rahman, presented the 2021 calendar to Chairman and Managing Director of United Group Moinuddin Hasan Rashid at an informal unveiling ceremony in the hospital on Wednesday.

During the event, United Hospital CEO Faizur Rahman said, “50 years of independence is the biggest landmark of our nation, which shows the spirit and strength of our countrymen...”

United Group Chairman Moinuddin Hasan Rashid also spoke on the occasion, while the hospital’s Director of Communication and Business Development, Dr Shagufa Anwar, delivered the welcome speech.

Department directors, consultants, doctors, nurses and higher officials were also present on the occasion.
